Lead Volunteers Welcome
We have a committee of regular lead volunteers who each get involved in whatever capacity their lives at the time allow. We meet about every 2 months or so throughout the year and then more often from September to Christmas. We discuss fundraising, preparation for the hamper project, setting up Santa’s Grotto and organising the 2 day event. The lead volunteers share out tasks so that everyone is supported and the jobs get done. We do need to expand our team as there is a lot to do, especially nearer to Christmas, and most of us have a day job too! It is a lovely team and it is good fun. Over the Christmas period itself, the lead volunteers give up their time as much as they can around their work and family commitments and then we recruit other regular volunteers too for the hamper project, Santa Day and the 2 day event on Christmas and Boxing Day. Please get in touch via the website contact page or the email on the attached poster if you think you would like to get involved in some capacity.
